Manjit Singh is a man with a mission: to pull a passenger aircraft along the runway at East Midlands Airport with his ears.

The 57-year-old from Leicester hopes to get into the Guinness Book of Records for his feat of strength as well as raise money for his Manjit Fitness Academy which aims to provide opportunities in sport to children living in Mahilpur, India.

He is going to attempt to pull an Eastern Airways’ Jetstream 41 aircraft, which normally seats 30 passengers, along the runway apron at the Castle Donington base attached by his ears on Wednesday, April 25.

But Manjit has past experience of similar stunts as he already holds 30 World Records, including the strongest lungs in the world, pulling a double-decker bus over 78 metres with his hair and lifting 85kg with his ears.
