Holidaymakers have been offered the chance to get their hands on some free air tickets, simply by revealing all about a memorable travel experience.

Singapore Airlines has launched a competition as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, asking travellers to share their holiday recollections with the world.

Participants need to tag their memory as either humorous, touching, inspiring, adventurous or enjoyable and Singapore Airlines will hand a pair of economy class tickets to the winners in all five categories.

Winners will be able to choose from any of Singapore’s multiple destinations including Auckland, Cairo, Barcelona, Beijing, Johannesburg, Los Angeles and, of course, Singapore.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Singapore Airlines is also running a Match In Time game which requires participants to match snapshots to relevant decades.

Tickets will also be awarded to winners of this competition, with Singapore Airlines handing out a total of 35 prizes. The closing date for both competitions is August 31.

Singapore Airlines was recognised twice today as part of the Skytrax World Airline Awards, scooping prizes for the Airline of the Year and the Best Business Class.
