Gatwick Airport has reopened.
However, airport officials recommend that passengers check with their airline or tour operator to ensure that their flights are departing today.
There will be delays and some cancellations over the next couple of days. Management expect schedules to be disrupted for “a few days”.
Public transport disrupted
The Gatwick Express is suspended, but there is a limited rail service by Southern Railway (www.southernrailway.com).
National Express coach services to the airport are suspended (www.nationalexpress.com)
