Peak season:
Spring is typically the peak season in New Orleans, so make sure you arrange and purchase your flight tickets in advance to avoid overpaying. Spring generally runs from February through to May, offering mild weather conditions as well as quite a few events. The Mardi Gras season also runs from January to March, so expect a steep increase in the cost of flights to New Orleans around then.
Off season:
One of the quietest times of the year is actually the summer, where temperatures can get very hot. June to September should be avoided unless you genuinely love the sun and the heat. The temperatures don’t begin to cool down until late September so make sure to keep this in mind when you’re searching for your flight tickets. In fact, due to the lack of tourism during the summer, you’re likely to find the cheapest flights to New Orleans without too much effort.

Make sure you aim to book your flight tickets 2 months in advance at a minimum, but even further ahead if you want to visit the Mardi Gras festivals. Flexibility with help you find the cheapest flights to New Orleans, so if you have the luxury to be flexible, make sure to use it to your advantage when searching for flight tickets.

When I was going to board, one of the staff members told me that I could not board with my passport bag because it was tree items and I would need to check a bag. This was so stupid ! The bag was small. So I had to put my things in my pockets, put the funny bag inside the other bag. Then go throw it. Then in the plane put everything back again in my funny bag.
