The journey was good on the whole. We had bikes with us so the dedicated oversize luggage lane at PMI was welcome. The flight was great, staff friendly as always. The only thing that lets down the return flight is the immigration at BHX. The separate area used by Jet2 is far too slow, I think we queued there for over an hour compared to generally going straight through or a 5 minute wait with other operators in the main facility at BHX. I know you will say that it's the responsibility of the airport, Home Office etc, but you really need to apply pressure to get this sorted out.

Las Palmas has one of the best bus services in Spain. Yellow buses operate solely within the city itself, while the blue-coloured variety will take you to other destinations on the island. The main yellow bus services run every few minutes. Taxis can be hailed in the street when you see their green light and all operate on a metered fare system.
All flights land on Gran Canaria International Airport (LPA) which is situated approximately 15 miles from the centre of Las Palmas. A regular bus service operates throughout the day and takes passengers from the airport directly to the bus station in the middle of the city. Metered taxis are also available, as is the option of hiring a car.
