The only thing that lets down the return flight is the immigration at BHX. The separate area used by Jet2 is far too slow, I think we queued there for over an hour compared to generally going straight through or a 5 minute wait with other operators in the main facility at BHX. I know you will say that it's the responsibility of the airport, Home Office etc, but you really need to apply pressure to get this sorted out.

Peak season generally arrives with the warm weather, running from about June through August. Though, September and October are also great months to travel for those bargain travellers seeking cheap flights to Dubrovnik as the weather is warm (about 21 C to 25 C) but not too hot, and the crowds begin to thin. Getting around Dubrovnik
The Old Town is a maze of little streets which can be fun but somewhat tricky to navigate on foot. It’s a small area but some streets are quite steep. Buses run between the Old Town and other destinations. Cars can be hired in advance or on arrival.
Getting from the Airport to the City
Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) is about 10 miles (16 km) from the city and shuttle buses are available (about a 45-minute ride) for transport to the local bus station, which is 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the city centre. Alternatively, visitors can take a taxi direct from the airport. Some hotels also offer airport pick-up, either free of charge or with payment of a supplement – this is often the easiest way of getting into Dubrovnik.
