Getting into Town

Train: There is no train service from the airport, but there are a few within a mile or so. TER has express trains to Mandelieu, Grasse and Ventimiglia, and trains to Nice run every 20-39 minutes, and cost €1.40. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the terminals, or you could take a taxi. SNCF has trains from Nice Station to many destinations, including Marseille, Les Arcs, and Ventimiglia.

Bus: There are buses to nearly a hundred different destinations. Bus No. 98 departs from Terminal 2 to central Nice (every 20 minutes between 8am to 8pm). Bus No. 99 departs for the Nice Direct Railway Station from Terminal 1 (platform 1) and Terminal 2 (platform 4) every 30 minutes from 7:50am to 8:50pm. Both buses cost €4. There is also a bus (No. 23) to the TER railway station, just get off at the second stop “Gare SNCF St Augustin”.

Taxi: There are taxi ranks at Gate A1 in Terminal 1 and Gate A3 at Terminal 2. Typical fares to central Nice are €22-€30 from 7am-7pm and €27-€32 at night.

Car Parking

There are eight car parks at the airport. P9 is the most economical for both terminals at €7. P2 and P3 (Terminal 1) and P5 (Terminal 2) have direct access to the terminals and charge €14. G1 and G2 have extra security and charge €25, while P8 (Terminal 1) is the best long-term option at €44. The car parks are serviced by a free shuttle.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: There are banks, ATMs, VAT-refund desks and currency exchange offices in each terminal. Internet kiosks are available at €2 for 15 minutes, €3 for 30 minutes or €5 per hour.

Luggage: The airport offers luggage-wrapping services for €8, as well as left luggage facilities in each terminal for €5 per day. There are also luggage porters (€3 per bag) and baggage trolleys (€1 refundable deposit) to assist passengers with heavy bags.

Conference and business: A number of VIP and club lounges offer business services such as Internet access, fax and telephones, newspapers and refreshments.

Other facilities: Prayer rooms, meeting points, vaccination centres and pharmacies.

Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi sessions of up to 30 minutes are available throughout the airport. There are also Internet kiosks dotted throughout the airport, although the service isn’t free.
