They’re going away soon! The book benches that have adorned this fair city over the summer.

The National Literacy Trust’s Books about Town campaign has lit up the English capital. Fifty creative and beautiful benches honouring classic books have been offering seats in Greenwich, Bloomsbury, the City, and along the River Thames.

There’s just a few days left before they go up for auction – they’re all being taken down this week. Intrepid wanderers had better get their skates on if they want to see them.

Below you’ll find a few photos by London-based photographer Basia Dorrell with precise locations to help you find them. Want more? Head to the official Books about Town website.
