Eos Airlines, which flies from London to New York, will operate special Valentine’s Day flights on February 14.
Those wishing to whisk their loved one away to the Big Apple for a romantic break can enjoy several additional special amenities on the flights, which will depart from Stansted Airport to New York John F Kennedy Airport at 10.40am and 7pm.
As well as the Eos seats that allow for face-to-face dining, passengers can enjoy Godiva chocolates, Tattinger champagne, various romantic-themed readings and long-stemmed roses delivered by the crew.
Passengers should also ensure they check their box of Godiva chocolates carefully, since one box on each flight will contain a complimentary return ticket for a future Eos flight.
Each on-board suite offers lie-flat seats measuring six-foot, six-inches, as well as 21 square feet of personal space – “plenty of room for a man to kneel on bended knee, if there was a certain question he had been meaning to ask!”.
