What would your trip of a lifetime include? Some unique and unforgettable experiences? Visiting some of the world’s most famous landmarks? (Featured image by Alicia0928)

How about visiting all 962 UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the globe on a two-year luxury holiday?

That is exactly what travel website VeryFirstTo.com is offering, and all you need is a clear diary for the foreseeable future and nearly £1 million.

The luxury travel website is offering wealthy holidaymakers this bucket list trip for two for £990,000, including a £5,000 donation to UNESCO.

The trip includes visits to pretty much every site, landmark and well-known location that you can possibly think of, from the Pyramids of Giza to Notre Dame.

The trip will take in all 28 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the UK, with highlights including Stonehenge and the Tower of London.

But the trip isn’t just about relentlessly ticking famous landmarks off a very long list; the travel itself is pure luxury.

Those on the trip will fly either business or first class on all flights and stay at some of the world’s most famous luxury hotels.

This includes the elegant Hotel George V in Paris, the celeb-heavy Sandy Lane in Barbados and the Plaza in New York.

“There is no doubt that this will be one of most thrilling, memorable and inspiring experiences a couple could ever wish for,” said Marcel Knobil, founder of VeryFirstTo.

VeryFirstTo has teamed up with luxury tour operator Hurlingham Travel to create the trip and devise the itinerary.

Andrew Barker, managing director of Hurlingham Travel, said: “This is certainly the most exciting trip we have ever organised and is the most remarkable travel adventure imaginable.”

Some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites are in less-than-ideal destinations, such as Leptis Magna in Libya, Pasargadae in Iran and Sana’a in Yemen, but VeryFirstTo has said that it will try to cater for holidaymakers who want to see everything on the list.
