Aer Lingus’s winter schedule features six new routes and more flights on eight popular routes.

The popular routes of Dublin to Verona, Italy, and Cork-Brussels will run through 2012/2013.

Copenhagen, Bordeaux and Venice are other new destinations.

Flights will be added to city-break faves such as Berlin, Vienna and Amsterdam and sunshine spots such as Lanzarote and Tenerife.

Greater connectivity will be baked in to the schedule too. Berlin, Stockholm, Venice and Faro will be accessible via Dublin Airport, giving passengers connecting between Europe and the United States (New York and Boston) greater choice.

Declan Kearney, Aer Lingus’s Director of Communications, said: “This announcement supports Aer Lingus’ strategy to provide greater access and choice for Irish customers with over 1,100 flights a week to and from Ireland.

“In addition, our continued focus is to support the growth of inbound business and tourism links. We look forward to welcoming customers on board our new services and to continue in our mission of connecting Ireland with the world, by offering the most flight and the best product in the Irish market.”
