High-end travel operator Kuoni has won The Sunday Times Travel Magazine Readers’ “Best Luxury Tour Operator” award.
The award, chosen by readers of the popular travel magazine, included other accolades for a number of successful travel companies and brands.
Winners included the likes of Hotel Arts Barcelona for European City Hotel, The Peninsula Hong Kong for Worldwide City Hotel, and Rome for best European City Break location.
Other winners in the poll included Southern Spain for European Beach Destination; the Maldives for Worldwide Beach Destination; New York for best Worldwide City Break; and Australia for best Worldwide Adventure Destination.

In previous years, Kuoni has picked up Sunday Times Travel Magazine Readers’ Awards for Favourite Family Tour Operator (2010) and Favourite Tour Operator for family holidays (2009).
British Airways and Virgin Atlantic were given the awards for best short-haul airline and best long-haul airline respectively.
British Airways is currently running a number of Christmas Advent Calendar deals, with a new offer each day. The promotion is running until 21 December, with offers on Business-Class flights, holiday packages and car rental.
Some of the deals will include savings on holidays to Europe, the Caribbean, the USA, and Central America.
Customers can get seven nights for the price of four to selected Caribbean destinations, or receive four free nights when booking ten to Caribbean and Indian Ocean resorts.
