Nadi International Airport is Fiji’s primary hub and gateway to Fiji’s many tourist hotspots.
Handling approximately 1.2 million passengers per year and 30 international flights per day, flights to Nadi International Airport are primarily from cities in New Zealand, Australia and Asia, with limited service from the US.
Although the terminal is sometimes busy and queues long, Nadi International offers its own unique charm in the form of friendly, helpful staff that cater to passengers’ needs and musical bands that welcome guests.
Terminal Transfer
Nadi International comprises one terminal building; both arrivals and departures are within close proximity to each other.
Getting into Town
Bus: Numerous local public bus operators travel from Nadi International to the city and surrounds. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes and fare is FJD 0.50-1 (less than £0.50). Air-conditioned coaches also operate to many resorts and towns, and fares start at FJD 15 (about £5).
Taxi: Taxis are metered; however not all drivers activate their devices. Fare should be between FJD 10 and FJD 15 (£3-£5) for a trip to Nadi. Ensure that you agree on a price before setting off.
Car Parking
Parking rates are FJD 1 for the first hour and FJD 1 per half hour thereafter, with a maximum daily rate of FJD 15. Weekly parking costs FJD 90 (£31) per week.
Information Desks
Information desks are located in the Arrivals Commercial Concourse and the International Departures Concourse.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: You’ll find ATMs, currency exchange and a post office at Nadi.
Luggage: There are left luggage (starting at FJD 10 (a little over £3) per day for small bags) and lost-and-found facilities.
Conference and business: The Nadi Airport VIP Lounge is on the ground floor of International Departures. Business lounges provide additional amenities, including showers and multimedia facilities.
Other facilities: Internet kiosks are scattered throughout the terminal building.
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available in the Domestic Terminal and the International Arrival and Departure Terminals. Access time can be purchased at Domestic Cafe, Prouds Express, Transit Cafe, Prouds Departures Duty Free Shop and the Oasis Cafe. Rates are FJD 9 (£3) for one hour.
