European airports are not living up to their obligation to provide adequate services for passengers with reduced mobility, a leading charity has claimed.

Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) said that despite new EU legislation being introduced last year many passengers continue to feel mistreated when flying.

Under the new law, responsibility for helping disabled people navigate through terminals has passed from individual airlines to the airports themselves.
