John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice (KRK): The airport is located in the village of Balice, 11km (6.8 miles) west of Krakow.

To/from the airport: The Balice Ekspres train departs from the Krakow Glowny railway station (200m from the terminal). Taxis and buses are available.

Facilities: ATMs, currency exchange and post office, left-luggage and baggage-wrapping services, first-aid station, Internet kiosks.

Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport (WAW): is located 10km (6 miles) southwest of Warsaw.

To/from the airport: The bus terminal is on the arrivals level alongside the airport in front of the terminal’s south pier. There are three approved taxi companies; average fares to the city centre are £8.

Facilities: Duty-free shops, car rental, bank, bureau de change, lost luggage and restaurant/bar.
