The life of a celebrity can be a pretty hectic one. Aside from all the promotional work, there are parties to attend and red carpets to grace. All of which has to be done while looking fabulous.

It is not surprising that celebs take more than their fair share of holidays each year, jetting off to glamorous resorts and beaches around the world.

This week has been no different, with the rich and famous embarking on typically luxurious trips. So, where have our favourite celebs been this week?

Sydney, Australia

The paradise beaches and scorching weather make Australia a great holiday destination, but for Chris Hemsworth it’s merely a case of going home.

The Australian actor, star of Snow White and the Huntsman, was back in his native land to promote his new film, and took some time off for a dip in his hotel pool – much to the delight of ladies around the world.

Italian Riviera

The destination of choice for many celebrities, the Italian Riviera offers fantastic weather, idyllic surroundings and plenty of five-star luxury.

This week it was the turn of Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley. After Frank was forced to miss Euro 2012 through injury, Christine thought she would take her man’s mind off it with a trip to the Italian Riviera.

Krakow, Poland

For the wives and girlfriends of footballers who are at Euro 2012, the Polish city of Krakow has been the destination of choice.

The Euro WAGs arrived in Krakow last week, and have been keeping a low profile since then. It’s in stark contrast to the WAGs’ antics in Germany in 2006, when Victoria Beckham et al painted the town red, over and over and over again.

Wrotham, Kent

The countryside village of Wrotham, in Kent, may not sound like a celebrity-hangout, but it got a little more glamorous over the weekend with the arrival of the Duchess of Cambridge.

She tagged along on a primary school camping trip to the area, where she got stuck in to a number of outdoor pursuits.
