The summer seems to have finally arrived in Britain, with high temperatures and blue skies enjoyed by most parts of the country.

It was good practice for next week’s Bank Holidays (4 and 5 June), with many people firing up the BBQ or settling down to some serious sunbathing.

The British public were out in force to soak up the sun, and our favourite celebs were no different. Of course, it’s always sunny in celebville – so where have the rich and famous been this week?

Monaco

Formula 1 is certainly a rich man’s sport, and nowhere is this more obvious than at the Monaco Grand Prix. Taking place over the weekend, the race saw high-profile celebs descend on the opulent city of Monte Carlo.

Ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was in Monte Carlo to support boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, and was joined by her Men In Black 3 co-star Will Smith.

London

London is a city that is never short on glamour, but Sunday evening was extra special as some of Britain’s best-loved stars turned out for the BAFTA TV Awards.

Showing off on a red-white-and-blue carpet, some of TV’s biggest names attended the event at Royal Festival Hall on the banks of the Thames.

One of the biggest winners on the night was Appropriate Adult, whose stars Dominic West and Emily Watson walked away with the gongs for best actor and best actress.

Israel

It may have been pretty hot here in Britain over the weekend, but that’s nothing compared to the scorching temperatures in Israel.

So spare a thought for Madonna, who has been in Tel Aviv rehearsing for the launch of her upcoming world tour.

Manchester

We don’t often associate Manchester with the world of celebrity, but that all changed at the weekend as numerous stars turned out for charity football match Soccer Aid.

The unique event saw a team of English celebrities and football legends take on a Rest of the World team, with England winning 3-1.

The usual faces were there, including Robbie Williams, Patrick Kielty and Olly Murs, but the Rest of the World team had something of a Hollywood makeover this year, with Will Ferrell, Edward Norton and Mike Myers all taking part.
