A new bus service has been launched for passengers travelling to Belfast International Airport.

The service officially began operating on Monday, September 3 and provides a new transport link to the airport from Antrim and Lisburn.

An Ulsterbus will now run hourly between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, to and from Belfast Airport to Antrim Bus Station and Lisburn Rail Station.

It is one of many new initiatives introduced for passengers by operator Translink in a bid to make transport to and from the airport more reliable and eco-friendly.

To celebrate the launch, the firm is offering special introductory fares which are available until October 31.
