British Airways (BA) has announced plans to change routes from Heathrow, Gatwick and London Airport to Moscow.
From Sunday (25 March), the leading UK airline will offer passengers First-Class travel on long-haul flights to the Russian capital. This is the shortest long-haul premium service to Moscow from BA.
BA will be the only airline offering premium seats and comprehensive in-flight entertainment to all customers travelling between London and Moscow.
Here are a few of Moscow’s most popular sites:
Red Square
Moscow’s world famous Red Square is the city’s main square. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and overflows with historical significance. The Red Square is also home to the stunning St. Basil’s Cathedral and Spasskaya Tower.
Kolomenskoye Park
The park is said to be one of the best places to visit during the summer when the trees are in bloom. The park, which features a peaceful orchard, is also near a cluster of churches.
Bolshoi Theatre
Another “must-see” for Moscow visitors is the Bolshoi Theatre, which stages performances of ballet and opera.
