Cheapflights.co.uk has been voted the best travel website 2006 by the UK’s Website of the Year Awards.
The awards are voted for by consumers and this year more than 350,000 votes were cast by 275,000 voters.
There are 20 consumer categories, with 359 websites nominated. Cheapflights was voted “Best travel site”.
Other winners included Google – which won “Best search engine” – and eBay for best auction site.
