The Troxy, London, 16 March-14 April – A beautiful former picturehouse in London’s East End is being transformed into the world of Prohibition-era Chicago. Future Cinema, the creators of Secret Cinema, is taking it over for their special production of Bugsy Malone.
As of tomorrow (March 16), visitors to The Troxy can expect a live-action boxing ring, audition studio, Fat Sam’s book shop and speak easy, a casino and treats including milkshake and popcorn stalls topped off with fire custard shooting guns, pies. Not forgetting Alan Parker’s 1976 hit British Musical, Bugsy Malone, screening.
More than 30 performances are scheduled until 14 April, including special matinee performances and kids prices (£10) over the weekends and Easter holidays (16 March to 14 April). Watch:

Future Cinema’s production of “Bugsy Malone” kicks off a long-term commitment to the East End where The Troxy will launch as a permanent live exhibition space for Future Cinema throughout 2012.
