The Easter holidays may seem a long way off, but families will already be planning trips and activities to make the most of the extended school break in April. There are all kinds of trips to make this Easter a memorable one, where should you go with your family for an Easter they’ll never forget?

The Netherlands

Whatever your kids may say, Easter isn’t just about chocolate eggs and bunnies. It’s also about springtime, and there’s no better place to see spring in action than the Netherlands.

Tulips and daffodils fill towns and cities with every colour of the rainbow, but some of the most impressive are found in Amsterdam. Head to the Keukenhof flower gardens to see some spectacular flower displays. Search and compare our flights to Amsterdam from London

Vienna

Austria’s capital city is a beautiful place to visit at any time of year, but the city’s markets make it extra special at Easter. Selling chocolate bunnies and hand-painted Easter eggs, the market at the Schönbrunn Palace is the perfect place to get in the Easter mood.

Rome

A great place to soak up some religious tradition is in Rome. There are plenty of Easter activities going on in the Italian city, with St Peter’s Square the setting for grand and solemn celebrations.

Tignes

Easter is coming earlier this year, so should still be some skiing to be had across Europe. One place where it’s all but guaranteed is the high-altitude French resort of Tignes. Great for a family ski holiday, Tignes caters for skiers of all ages and abilities.
