If you are heading over to Sydney with your family anytime soon, reward them after that long flight with a fabulous children’s event in The Royal Botanic Gardens.

To celebrate the 195th birthday of the gardens, a huge party is being held with appearances from famous children’s characters from books and TV. Alongside meeting and greeting Wiggles stars Fairy Clare and Dorothy the Dinosaur, kids can try face-painting, flower painting and cupcake making.

There will also be rides on the Wish Express train on offer, taking in the sights and smells of the gardens.

The Sydney Children’s Choir will be hitting the high notes at the free event, to be held on 13 June at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney’s city centre.
