Strike action set to hit airports in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland next week has been put on hold by union officials.

The suspension of the strike by the Unite union, which represents the fire fighters that were set to walk out, has been made to allow discussions to take place with the Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL).
