Leeds Bradford International Airport has launched an updated car park pre-booking system that allows drivers to enter without vouchers.

Using technology from car park booking company Chauntry, the new service allows passengers to pre-book on the airport website and supports customer credit card recognition.

This gives customers the benefit of voucher-less entry to the car park, the airport notes.

“The internet pre-booking facility is an important service for our passengers and we are extremely pleased that the new site has been successfully launched,” said Cath Mason, Leeds Bradford financial and commercial director.

She pointed out that the change had not affected any of our existing customers or bookings and stressed that discounts are available for those taking advantage of the service.

Leeds Bradford International supports flights from the likes of bmi, Flybe, Jet2.com and Ryanair. Destinations on offer include Barcelona, Malaga and Dublin.

The latest new route to be announced was a direct flight to Lille in northern France, which will begin operating on April 23.
