A fun day at London City Airport on Saturday, July 7 will feature a dramatic air show, as well as a host of other attractions.

The event will be the 11th such fun day at the airport and the air show, with its “death-defying stunts and aerobatics”, will naturally be a highlight.

On the ground, motorcyclists from the X-Treme Motorcycle Stunt Trial Display Team will be attempting huge 15-foot jumps up vertical walls, as well as free-style tricks that only a few riders around the world can do.

Kids can visit “Kids World” and “Mini World”, while older visitors might want to join the afternoon tea dance at “Yesterday’s World”.

Also featuring at the fun day will be singers at the final of the All Newham Karaoke competition in the “Entertainment World” section.

The airport fun day will help to raise money for the Richard House Children’s Hospice, which provides help for families and children suffering from terminal conditions.

London City Airport is located in the Docklands area of east London. It is served by airlines including CityJet, Lufthansa CityLine and VLM.
