From exotic beaches to some of the world’s greatest cities, the travel itinerary of the average celebrity is a truly global experience.

Whether it’s for work or play (or a little bit of both), celebs love nothing more than treating the world as a playground, striving to see as much of it as possible!

From the sunny Maldives to the hustle and bustle of New York City, this week has been a typically globetrotting one for the glitterati. So, where have the rich and famous been this week?

The Maldives

There are plenty of stunning islands in the Indian Ocean, but the Maldives has to be one of the best. With a number of islands of varying sizes, the Maldives has long been a favourite venue for anyone who is looking for natural beauty and lavish luxury.

This week it was the turn of Aussie pop-star and former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue to test the water at one of the country’s most luxurious resorts. Writing for The Daily Mail, Dannii sampled the delights of the One&Only Reethi Rah resort.

Miami

Another popular destination among the world’s celebrities, Florida offers gorgeous weather, great beaches, and plenty of theme parks – if you’re into that sort of thing.

For Kim Kardashian it was more Sea World than Disney World, as the reality star relaxed on a yacht off the coast of Miami. But Kim didn’t stop there, and was snapped out on the town with boyfriend Kanya West at the weekend.

New York

The City That Never Sleeps is known for a lot of things, with shopping probably the most important for many of us … and Katie Holmes is no exception.

The actress took her mind off things with a spot of retail therapy in New York recently, and took daughter Suri along for the ride.

It seems that children are the same the world over, as the six-year-old threw a tantrum after being denied a puppy by her mum.
