Qatar Airways, the much garlanded airline, is marking the expansion of services from Manchester to Doha with some special fares to Bangkok and Melbourne.

The carrier recently doubled its flights on the Manchester-Doha route, from one to two per day.

Book before 7 July 2011 to snap up one of the bargains.

Return flights to Bangkok from £488 return in Economy Class or £1,905 in Business Class. Travel before 30 November 2011 and note the blackout dates around peak summer season, Christmas and Easter (outbound – 15-31 July, 1-25 December 2011 and inbound – 1-15 January, 8-15 April 2012).

Melbourne flights from £877 return. Fly before 31 March 2012. The blackout dates are similar: outbound 15-31 July, 1 December 2011-31 January 2012 and Inbound – 1-15 January, 8-15 April 2012.
