Passengers heading out of Bristol Airport on easyJet flights will have more choice this summer as the airline has said it will base an additional aircraft at the airport.

There will be increased frequencies on flights to a number of popular destinations including Geneva, Palma, Alicante, Faro, Pisa and La Rochelle throughout the busy summer holiday season.

It will be the 11th easyJet aircraft serving Bristol Airport and will operate during the peak season from July 19 until September 7.

In April easyJet said it would begin a new service between Bristol and the Polish capital Warsaw later this year, and just last week started twice daily departures on the Bristol to Paris Charles De Gaulle route, up from once daily, offering passengers the chance to a make a day return flight.
