The four-month long Pattaya Grand Sale has kicked off, boasting great discounts and deals on accommodation, shopping and dining throughout the city.

Supported by the Chonburi provincial government, the sale was opened by Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and a host of Thai tourism operators.

Last year, more than 20,000 visitors applied for the Grand Sale card, which allowed them to save big on hotels, golfing, retail therapy and eating out.

This year’s sale – which runs until 30 September 2011 – offers savings of up to 60 per cent on hotel rooms, 20 per cent at the city’s eateries and 50 per cent at various golf courses and other attractions.
