With the Six Nations kicking off this weekend the ladies will join their men to watch a squad of fifteen men from each country – England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France and Italy – battle it out for the ultimate title. But with female interest increasing, are they there for their country or the men?

We take a look at some of the hottest rugby players, past and present, to grace the Six Nations:

France vs Italy

France takes on Italy at home this Saturday, and, weirdly for some, an attraction for women in the past tournament has been the French Caveman, Sebastian Chabal (above). While Chabal may be lucky to start this season’s fixtures Chabal depicts the very essence of a real man with his muscular physique and bushy beard.

Chabal is one caveman women just can’t resist pinning their eyes on.

From rugged to refined, the beautiful Sergio Parisse (left) is against the French on Saturday.

Women will only have eighty minutes to decide whether France or Italy take the title for talent this year.

If you are visiting Paris this weekend and rugby is not your thing, you could do worse than lose yourself in the cobbled and narrow streets of Marais to get intimate with the museums and fine restaurants in the area.

Scotland vs England

Dan Parks (right) is perhaps Scotland’s most significant player, but does he make the cut where women are concerned? Up against England’s Ben Foden (left) this Saturday, play is likely to sway in England’s favour.

If you are visiting Edinburgh anytime soon climb Edinburgh’s extinct volcano and visit Edinburgh Castle for spectacular views. Arthur’s Seat is the tallest of Edinburgh’s seven hills and is an alternative attractive sight.

Ireland vs Wales

Ladies Gavin’s not occurring on Sunday against Ireland, but he’s still bang tidy. Gavin Hensons’s (left) presence will be missed, but powering through for Ireland is Jamie Heaslip (top photo).

Will anybody else challenge Heaslip on the pitch this Sunday? We’ll leave that one up to you.

If you’re not lucky enough to be at the Aviva stadium in Dublin this weekend, keep your spirits high when you do visit Dublin at the Guinness storehouse and discover the history of the stout and enjoy a complimentary drink at Gravity bar, the highest bar in Ireland.
