Visitors keen for some underwater action at the New York Aquarium this year can make the most of a great discount on admission during the month of August.

To celebrate its recognition as the Big Apple’s ‘Culture Spot’ for August, the aquarium – which is located on Brooklyn’s Coney Island boardwalk, is offering 20 per cent off all admission tickets.

The popular tourist attraction – the oldest continually operating aquarium in the country – boasts more than 350 different species, ranging from sea lions to otters and sharks.

Director at the New York Aquarium, Jon Forrest Dohlin, said, “Something new and exciting is always happening at the New York Aquarium, and we invite all to plan a trip and discover our ocean wonders.”
