Airline passengers looking to use the Stansted Express rail service to the airport are being advised that engineering work over the coming weeks will affect its operation.

Stansted Express has said that work will be taking place at weekends between Broxbourne and Bishops Stortford, so trains will be replaced by a non-stop coach service to/from London Liverpool Street and the airport.

The work will begin this weekend, January 13 and 14, and continue on until February 25, with Stansted Express advising passengers to check their website to stay up to date with the latest information.

Tickets booked for the train service will be valid on the replacement buses, which will be leaving every 15 minutes and have a journey time of approximately 90 minutes.
