Voyages Jules Verne, which offers escorted travel and specialist tours, has introduced HighLights – a range of shorter breaks of between four and eight nights, starting in 2012.

Tours to Europe include HighLights of Poland and HighLights of Turkey. HighLights of Poland is a seven-night tour incorporating walking tours of Cracow and Warsaw, as well as optional excursions to the Wieliczka Salt Mines and the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Prices for this tour start at £565 per person.

The HighLights of Turkey tour includes a visit to Istanbul, with the option of a river cruise, and stopovers in Canakkale, Kusadasi and Bursa. This tour costs upwards of £695 per person.

Voyages Jules Verne is also operating tours to northern Africa, including Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia, with prices starting at £495 per person.

The HighLights of Egypt tour costs from £695 per person and incorporates visits to the Valley of Kings, Philae Temple, and the added option of a trip to the Pyramids.

HighLights of Morocco is an eight-night tour stopping at places like Casablanca, Fez and Marrakech. Prices start at £695 per person for four star accommodation throughout the trip.

Tours further afield include India, China, and Vietnam, with prices starting at £895. HighLights of India is a week-long tour of some of India’s tourist hotspots. A visit to the Taj Mahal is among the excursions included in the trip, which also visits the Amber Fort in Jaipur, Delhi.

The HighLights of China also covers several tourist favourites, including the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and a visit to the terracotta warriors. Prices for this tour start at £995 per person.
