Kent International Airport (also known as Manston Airport) is to benefit from an on-site travel agency, due to open early next year.

Brockmans Travel, a Kent-based independent travel agent, will officially open a branch at Kent International on January 13.

The airport has a long history as a Royal Air Force airfield but is now a commercial airport offering flights to destinations in Europe and the US.

Brockmans will offer its full range of products at the on-site location. This includes flights from travel companies such as Kent Escapes, which flies to Faro and Barcelona, and Newmarket Holidays, which flies to Italy.

Passengers will also be able to book flights from Kent International to Norfolk, Virginia in the US through Cosmos.

Kent International is located near the Kent coast in Thanet.
