Nemo fish on the Great Barrier Reef

Turtles in Bundaberg

Visitors can witness the migration of hundreds of turtles as they head back to Mont Repos, just 15 kilometres from Bundaberg in the south.

This takes place between November and March each year, and tours depart at 6:45pm from the Mont Repos information centre for AUD $10.20 (£6.36).

Dwarf minke whales in Cairns

These gentle giants come in at seven tonnes and come within a metre of snorkelers giving them a spectacular underwater view.
