The bods at Closer magazine have put together some handy tips to help women with their holiday packing.
According to the magazine’s fashion commentator and assistant editor, Ally Oliver, the vast majority of women overpack for their holidays by at least 25 per cent.
Females should “get tough” on themselves, says Oliver, and decide whether they really see themselves wearing all of the clothes they are packing.
“When you think you have everything, lay it all out on the bed before packing into your suitcase. Layer it into tops, dresses, shorts, swimwear et cetera and take a good hard look at how many you have in each pile,” advised the expert.
The final tip was to avoid taking more than three pairs of shoes. Sigh.
