NatWest has signed a new reward deal with easyJet and online travel agent ebookers that will replace its long-standing relationship with the Airmiles scheme.

Noting that the industry has changed “beyond recognition” in recent years, NatWest announced that the new programme – YourPoints – would allow customers to fly with low-cost airlines and use the ebookers website, while still taking advantage of special offers.

Any flight or travel package will be available to buy with YourPoints, provided it is available either through ebookers or easyJet.

“The programme gives customers a much greater degree of choice on where, when and how they travel,” a spokesman for NatWest said. “It also means that for the first time there are no restrictions, no black-out days, and airport taxes can be paid for in YourPoints.”

The new programme will come into effect when NatWest customers receive their June credit card statement, at which point they will stop collecting Airmiles and begin collecting YourPoints on their cards. They can still use their Airmiles, however.
