Two issues... 1. The Aer Lingus check-in counter in Lisbon did not open until 90 minutes prior to the flight. Huge line of customers waiting to check-in and very time consuming. Plus, having to clear security, passport control, and take the shuttle bus to the plane takes a long time. Consequently, the flight was delayed due to passengers not being able to get to the gate on time. I showed up four hours early but had to wait for over two hours just for the check-in counter to open. Many passengers complaining about the same issue. VERY STRESSFUL! 2. During the flight one of the flight attendants (Glen) was quite rude to a parent of a non-verbal autistic child. At one point I heard him say in a nasty tone, "You have three seconds to put your bag under the seat or I will take it and check it. 3, 2, 1!" I did not speak to the flight attendant because I was afraid he would kick me off the flight. Very unpleasant to everyone before take off also while instructing them to put the seats up and bags under. A little interpersonal communication training could help this man. Other than those two issues, the flight was fine.
