Travellers heading over to Northern California for their holidays this year should make sure they download a new app before they go.
The NorCal Guide – free to download from the iTunes store for the iPhone and iPad – comprises loads of detailed info to allow visitors to make the most of their USA getaway.
Created by the Central Valley Tourism Association and Gold Country Visitors Association, the app covers more than 12 Californian counties from Amador to Yolo.
It showcases some of the area’s top attractions, along with advice on hotels, eateries, wineries, national parks and historic sites. There are also comprehensive maps showing you how to reach every attraction mentioned.
Best of all, the app also offers great deals and discounts on local events and activities in each location.
