To / from the airport: There are several options, including taxis (which cost around €30 to Cologne and around €40 to Bonn), the local bus service, and the S-bahn train.

To/from the airport: The S-Bahn station is on the lower ground floor of the airport, linking it with Dresden’s two biggest stations. Buses and taxis are available.

Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS): www.duesseldorf-international.de is located 8km (5 miles) north of Dusseldorf.
To / from the airport: There are plenty of transport options available at the airport, including taxis (which will cost around €20 to the city centre), limousines, local buses, a Skytrain Shuttle Bus, and the fast and efficient S-Bahn.
Facilities: Facilities at the airport include ATMs, banks, a laundry, dental practice, restaurants, cafés, snack-bars, Wireless Internet access and baby-changing facilities.
Frankfurt Airport (FRA): www.frankfurt-airport.com is located 12km (8 miles) southwest of the centre of Frankfurt.
To/from the airport: There are two railway stations you can access from the airport. Several bus lines stop at Frankfurt Airport and metered taxis are available.

Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN): www.hahn-airport.de It’s equidistant between Frankfurt and Luxembourg – 120km (75 miles).
To/from the airport: There are rail stations nearby – a bus or taxi ride away. There is a bus stop outside Terminal 2, opposite Exit E9. Taxis are available.
Facilities: ATMs, banks, currency exchange and public phones, business centre, hair salon, travel agents, a tourist information centre and a children’s play area.

Munich International Airport (MUC): www.munich-airport.de is located 28km (18 miles) northeast of the city centre.
To/from the airport: The MVV airport S-Bahn rail link S1 and buses connect Munich International to Hauptbahnhof (the main central station). Taxis are available; the average fare is $50.
Facilities: Restaurants and bars, duty free and other shops, shower facilities and a pharmacy. ATMs and currency exchange desks are available in Arrivals and Departures. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Hamburg Airport (HAM): www.ham.airport.de is located 8km (5 miles) from Hamburg.
To/from the airport: HVV runs the S-Bahn (suburban railway) S1 line from the airport station, directly in front of the terminals, to the city centre. HVV Buses stop directly outside each terminal. Taxis are readily available outside all terminals, they take around 30 minutes to the city centre.
Facilities: Restaurants, shops, bars and cafes throughout the airport, as well as banks, currency exchange and ATMs in Terminals 1 and 2. There is wireless Internet access in all terminals. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Hannover Airport (HAJ): www.hannover-airport.de is located 11km (7 miles) north of Hanover.
To/from the airport: Trains go from the airport to the central railway station and taxi stands are located at the entrance of the Arrivals terminal. An express bus runs between the airport and the central railway station, while bus No. 471 links the airport to Langenhagen.
Facilities: Duty-free shops, Wi-Fi access, restaurants/bars, bureau de change, travel agencies and a nursery and children’s area.
Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ): www.leipzig-halle-airport.de is located 14km (9 miles) north of Leipzig City and 20km (12 miles) south of Halle.
To/from the airport: Train journeys are swift – 14 minutes to Leipzig Central Station, 16 minutes to Halle Central Station. Buses are frequent, twice an hour. Taxis can be found outside Terminal B.

Nuremberg Airport (NUE): www.airport-nuernberg.de The airport is located 5km (3 miles) from the centre of Nuremberg.
To / from the airport: There’s a train station at the airport (U2 subway line links the airport with the city). The No. 32 bus runs to the bus and tram stop at Thon. Taxis are available around the clock.
