If you fancy a bit of early Christmas cheer, take your family to visit Santa in Lapland. Discounted family trips to the Arctic Circle are on offer this week.

Prices start £1499 for a family of four, saving £947, or £999 for a family of three, saving £1058.
Prices include flights, accommodation and transfers. Flights depart from either Manchester or Gatwick airport depart on 7 December.
Staying at the Tunturi Hotel, a daily breakfast and three-course evening meal are included, as well as free wine and soft drinks.
A range of Christmas activities are also included in the price. Families will be able to take a husky sled ride, and try their hand at driving the sled; enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride through the snowy terrain; and go on a snowmobile hunt for Santa’s cabin.
Mini skidoos are available for children, and everyone can try their hand at tobogganing and ice fishing during this mini-break.
Also included is a visit to see Santa himself in his hidden log cabin. After the snowmobile search, enjoy a private family meeting with Santa, surrounded by elves and presents.
Children under 13 will get a special gift, and will be amazed as he reads out their personal letter to him.

For the same price, families can opt to stay in the Lapland resort of Saarisielka, and take a snowmobile safari to see the light show in the sky.
