Family Travel Deals

Search flights to Paris

It’s easy to find family travel deals at all times of year. There are always ways to work around steep seasonal flight prices and food and accommodation expenses; you just need to know where to look. Whether you decide upon a package holiday or book cheap flights and hotels yourself, a family break doesn’t need to break the bank.

During the summer school holidays and autumn half-term period, family travel deals in Southern European nations such as Spain, Portugal and Greece offer beach and poolside fun and inexpensive local food from charming seaside restaurants and cafes.

In recent years, the popularity of family holidays outside the sometimes-costly European Union, to destinations a little further away such as Turkey, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia, has grown. Fine weather and excellent beaches make such places ideal seaside destinations, and many find that their money goes further than in Europe.

If you’re looking for family travel packages, pay attention to amusement parks such as Disneyland Paris and LEGOLAND Windsor, which run promotions for day passes and holiday packages. All-inclusive resorts make the perfect family travel packages as well – sometimes even allowing kids to stay, eat and play for free.

Often cheap and enjoyable, camping or caravanning holidays at sites in the South of France or the UK are worth considering. Caravans and camping equipment can be rented at minimal expense, with discount fares to regional airports bringing costs down even further.

Family travel packages aren’t the only way to save – simply keep an eye on hotel deals, especially during the school holidays and bank holidays. Some airlines offer discounts on child fares, and most airlines let children under the age of two fly for free. Also, if you’re willing to depart from a regional airport, many offer the same routes for lower prices.

Everyone needs a break – even the kids – but going on holiday with your children doesn’t have to be costly, worrisome, or exhausting. Find the family travel deal that works for you, and consider the world your playground – where do you want to go first?
