Holidaymakers who are keen to make their travel budget stretch further, will have until before midnight tonight (August 20) to get their hands on €12 flights.

The offer from budget Irish airline Ryanair, which started on Thursday, August 16, will be available on over 1,000 routes in September, October and November, and must be booked on ryanair.com before the clock strikes 12. The offer is valid on flights departing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The “all in” low fares include all taxes and charges. To secure the advertised €12 fare (with no fuel surcharges) on these seat sale flights, passengers are advised to decline the priority boarding service and travel with carry-on luggage only.

Passengers can make their payment using Ryanair’s Cash Passport (or MasterCard Prepaid) to avoid discretionary fees.

“Only Ryanair sells Europe’s lowest fares with a no fuel surcharge guarantee. In addition to our lowest fares, we also deliver Europe’s No 1 on-time performance across more than 1,500 routes,” said Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara

“These seats can only be booked until midnight (24:00hrs) Mon (August 20) and are sure to be snapped up fast so we urge passengers to book them on www.ryanair.com before they sell out.”

The airline has also recently announced 5 new routes from Cork to Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Vilnius from Nov 2012. According to Ryanair, fares on these routes are half as expensive as Wizz Air’s.

“Ryanair is pleased to announce 5 new Cork routes to Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Vilnius, which will start in November 2012, at fares from just €6.99 – which is more than 50 per cent cheaper than Wizz’s lowest fares,” said Ryanair’s Michael Cawley.

“Our Cork winter 2012 schedule now grows to two based aircraft and 10 routes which will deliver over 850,000 passengers a year at Cork Airport, sustaining over 800 ‘on-site’ jobs.”
