British Airways and Spotify have created the Music Travel Guide, designed to immerse travellers in the culture of the destination they are flying to.

Spotify users in the UK will be able to select a British Airways destination, describe their music taste and then create the ultimate destination playlist.

There are five destinations to discover: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Valletta (Malta), Naples and Edinburgh. Find out about British Airways’ new destinations here to discover more.

The songs recommended will include music, bands and artists from their chosen city, as well as music that’s trending there. The guide will also recommend concerts and music events, which can be booked via the website and app.

This is the first time that Spotify has worked with an airline. Spotify users will also be able to share their playlists through social media and click through for flights and holidays.

Flights to Barcelona, Edinburgh, Naples and Amsterdam cost from £39 one-way. From March 30, British Airways will offer flights to Malta from Gatwick from £55 one-way.
