Sir Richard Branson celebrated Virgin Atlantic’s 25th anniversary of flying to Miami from London this week.

Branson and the Virgin cabin crew posed for pictures at Miami’s International Airport as Branson said, “This is a fantastic milestone in Virgin Atlantic’s history.

“Miami was the second route Virgin Atlantic launched two years after the airline began and to think that we are now a world-class airline with 32 long haul destinations is a dream come true,” he added.

Make the most of Miami over Independence Day on 4 July with Hotel Urbano at Brickell’s Fourth of July Celebrations Package. The special offer includes accommodation in a double room, breakfast for two and two cocktails from $139 (£86) per night.

The boutique hotel, which is located in downtown Miami, is a stone’s throw from the 4 July fireworks and parades at America’s Birthday Bash in Bayfront Park.

To qualify for the offer, you must stay at least two nights over the 4 July weekend. Visit www.HotelUrbano.com and quote the promotion code “Celebrate” while booking.
