Ryanair is giving away tickets to the Cheltenham Festival to the first 250 people to book return flights to the event via www.ryanair.com, starting at 3pm yesterday (January 15).
Winners will receive free entry to the festival, as well as club enclosure tickets, for one day.
The offer is open to those booking a return trip to Cheltenham on one or a combination of the following routes over the period of the festival (March 12 to March 17): Dublin to Birmingham, Bristol or East Midlands; Shannon to East Midlands; or Knock to East Midlands.
Passengers need to book flights and then email their name, flight booking reference and their preferred days of entry in order. The packages will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Ryanair is everyone’s hot favourite for the Cheltenham Festival this year and these 250 prize packages mean you can back a winner before the festival even starts,” said the airline’s head of communications, Peter Sherrard.
He added that 25,000 low fare seats would be available between Dublin and Birmingham, East Midlands and Bristol during the festival.
The Cheltenham Festival takes place annually and has race prize money second only to the Grand National. Hundreds of millions of pounds are gambled by punters over the four days, meaning the event is noted for its atmosphere.
