The seats were very uncomfortable, and in my opinion unsuitable for long haul. There wasn't an air vent above the seats as one would expect and is standard on almost all other planes. Food was the bare minimum, with a snack being a single small piece of sweet bread!

The flight, overall, was good. The service was fine. At the same time, while the attendants were fine, I personally would've loved to see friendlier customer service. They are smiley when we board and disembark, but in the middle they're isn't much interaction.

Blankets and pillow as well as wired earbuds had to be paid for. And even more inconvenient, only credit cards could be used for payment - neither debit cards nor cash were accepted. The disgruntled lady in the seat next to mine very hesitantly asked if I could pay for hers and gave me cash instead but looking around, one could see there were many others like her, which may not have helped Air Transat 's customer satisfaction rating. While most long haul airlines offer all these things free, perhaps, there should be some clear prior indication so people would bring there own comfort and entertainment accessories?
