The glitter must have only just settled in Cape Town – Gay Pride held its finale on 11 March – but with “gay season” in full swing, the colourful charade continues. And there’s still enough time to book your Cheapflights ticket to Cape Town, ready for the gay capital’s most exciting film event – Out In Africa.

Africa’s leading gay and lesbian film festival, Out In Africa (don’t you just love the name) kicks off on 23 March and runs right through to 1 April.

The festival, which is now in its 19th year, runs three editions every year with each season running for at least a week in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
