Loch Lomond Seaplanes is set to begin the first city centre seaplane service in Europe, offering flights from Glasgow to Oban.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted permission for the company to begin the service, and flights are scheduled to begin by the end of August. Regular routes from Glasgow to west coast destinations like Arran, Bute and Tobermoray are also in the pipeline.
